Our founder, Santiago Ongay, experience in the cannabis industry dates back to 2013. Knowledgeable about the different regulatory processes in North America, he advises on the implementation of local and federal government agencies.
He has extensive experience in the analysis and development of regulatory and compliance frameworks for new and existing cannabis markets, considering local cultures and policies. Manages initiatives with state and federal governments to implement and improve regulated medical and recreational cannabis markets. It also supervises initiatives with the public and private sectors for the use of technology to control and correctly implement regulations. He is currently the CEO of The Sabia.
